ABOUT
ME
I know how to deliver complex information to an audience. Efficient, engaging and effective. It's what I do and have always done throughout my career. Aged 29, I've a wide range of experiences already from Journalism and Public Relations to Videography and Teaching. Through all these roles, one skill has been present throughout: communication.
After leaving school, I became a journalist to hold the powerful to account and inform people about the world they live in. In 2017, I graduated with a first-class honours degree in Journalism from the University of Lincoln and achieved the NCTJ Diploma. A documentary I made was 'highly commended' for a national journalism award. During my time there, I was appointed editor of the university's independent student newspaper as well as presenting the breakfast show on local radio.
My work has taken me to the likes of: BBC Live Political Programmes, The Sunday Times, ITV's Good Morning Britain, LBC/Global, The Times/The Sun, BBC East Midlands Today, BBC local radio, Gloucestershire Live, Lincolnshire Echo, Newark Advertiser, Radio Newark, Lincolnshire Reporter, Siren Radio.
More recently, I have worked: as the Head of PR for an education and training provider; worked freelance in journalism and videography/content creation; and as a Teacher of Geography.
I obsess over current affairs and am passionate about the natural world, making our society more equitable and our world more sustainable. Aside from that I'm a story-teller and love football - particularly when Arsenal are winning.
